3 bed Flat For Sale £2,650,000
55 Ebury Street, Belgravia, London, SW1W

Description

Quietly located on the 4th floor of this prestigious purpose-built apartment building, first impressions of this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property can be summed up simply with the words “quality” and “light”. The dark-stained wooden floors in the hallway and reception areas and wide picture windows in all rooms, both set the tone.

Double doors lead into the very generous living room with dining area and large open-plan kitchen with breakfast bar. Triple aspect windows facing east, south and west provide high levels of daylight at all times of the day. Morning and afternoon sun is particularly welcome though this can be moderated by sheer curtains and blinds if required. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped including a wine cooler and automatically-closing drawers.

The southwest-facing master bedroom has a separate dressing area with built-in wardrobes plus a large ensuite shower room. The other two double bedrooms also face south-west and have built-in wardrobes. The family bathroom has a full-size bath tub with shower above.

The well-tended communal gardens can be seen and admired from this apartment. (They are however not accessible as outside space to residents at the building). A lift and the 24/7 concierge desk adds convenience to the way of life at 55 Ebury Street. An annual service charge of £8,176 is considered reasonable, given the communal facilities. A car space underneath the building can be rented for a modest monthly amount.”

Step Outside

Close to the junction of Ebury Street and Lower Belgrave Street, this development is only 250 metres from the Victoria coach and mainline train stations, including District & Circle and Victoria underground lines. Gatwick and Heathrow airports are therefore 30 minutes and 45 minutes travel time away respectively. Travel to the City, Canary Wharf and the West End is even less.

Belgravia enjoys a prestigious “village” atmosphere with high quality restaurants, bars, cafes, traditional London pubs, supermarkets and individual shops all within easy walking distance.

Seller's Insight

“What we most enjoyed about living at No 18 was the peace and tranquillity. We felt well away from the busy streets and late-night revellers and yet so close to transport links.

We were always an easy walk to outstanding places to eat, and only a short cab ride to theatreland, museums and shopping either in Knightsbridge or Oxford Street.

Inside the apartment we enjoyed the sunlight, the levels of daylight and most of all the living space. Having the kitchen within the open-plan reception room was very sociable when entertaining the family and friends.

Having bedrooms and bathrooms distanced from the living areas was a blessing whenever our guests arrived early, perhaps after a late night!

The building has always been so well run by Syed and his team on the front desk – nothing was ever too much trouble. We rarely had to lift a finger when parcels or other deliveries arrived”.
