Seend is a sought-after village sitting between the market town of Devizes and the county town of Trowbridge. There is a beautiful church, shop and post office, a much used village hall and a popular primary school. The glorious Wiltshire countryside is all around with wonderful walking, cycling and riding opportunities.

There are a good range of shops and supermarkets in Devizes, less than four miles away plus a bustling weekly produce and antiques market. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés and a vibrant annual timetable of live music, festivals and events and several sports clubs. Melksham, a similar distance away in the direction of Bath, is home to a Waitrose and large Sainsbury's, plus a train station.

The historic cities of Bath and Salisbury which offer a wider range of shops and entertainments can be reached in under an hour, and there are stations at Chippenham and Pewsey with trains into London Paddington taking just over an hour.

There is lots of choice locally for schooling for all ages in both state and private sectors .

Directions:
From our office in The Market Place, head out toward Bath and down Caen Hill. At the traffic lights, turn left in the direction of Seend and Trowbridge. As the road straightens, the house will be found on the right hand side with the driveway behind a pretty forsythia hedge.
