Claverton Down is in an elevated, semi-rural location. It is close to the countryside, woodland and walks - including Bath Skyline Walk - and yet is just 2.5 miles from Bath Spa railway station (and the city centre) which has a mainline rail link to London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads.
