From Banbury, take the A4260 south, passing Adderbury and Deddington. After about 2 miles, take the left turn as signed to North Aston and Somerton. Proceed through North Aston and along towards Somerton. Park just before the canal bridge and the towpath is on the left. Continue on foot down the bank and turn left along the towpath (away from the bridge) and Deep Lock Cottage will be found just over half a mile along the towpath on the opposite side of the canal (over the bridge).
