There are also a good range of private schools in the area including Winchester College, St Swithun's, Twyford, Princes Mead and The Pilgrims' School. There is also Peter Symonds Sixth Form College in Winchester and near Petersfield is Bedales, Dunhurst and Dunannie. There are numerous footpaths in the area great for dog walking and cycling.
