House For Sale £495,000
Richmond Road, St. George

Description
"We have beyond loved living here at Richmond Rd. With St Georges park (Bristol's best!) at the bottom of our road and the most excellent set of neighbours, you could hope for. It is joyful to experience the Park through the changing seasons, from Summers idyllic picnics to Winter snow days complete with snowmen & sledging.
In the house itself, we've enjoyed seeing every New Year's in and all the bonfire night explosions via the 180 panoramic views of Bristol from our loft lookout. The fireworks at midnight on New Year's are a sight to behold and during the Fiesta balloons pass over! We've had countless blissful summer BBQs in the suntrap yard and the cosiest of winters in front of the log burner or the open fire.
BS5 has blossomed over the years, with Poco Deli popping up at the bottom of our road, Orchard coffee shop on the right, The Red Church & even a record shop have joined the original staple, The Lock Up. There are no signs of it slowing either with a new commercial build in progress by the entrance to the Park.
We've enjoyed 6.5 rich years of living, hosting & and everything in between here.
We are sad to move on but do so with warm hearts, memories a plenty & lifelong friends."

Richmond Road is situated in St George, between Church Road and Avonview Cemetery, which occupies a large space above the River Avon and its riverside walks. St George's Park is across Church Road from Richmond Road and is one of the city's most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Richmond Road near to the very popular Poco Deli, Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much-loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
