The Location
Pebble Cottage is in the centre of the incredibly sought after village of Kelling, sandwiched between Salthouse and Weybourne on the North Norfolk coastline.
Kelling is a particularly sought after village because the bulk of the village continues to be owned and cared for by the Kelling Estate. Kelling beach is a bit of a hidden gem, it's a bit of walk out across the saltmarsh but worth the stroll because you are likely to have the pebbled coastline to yourself.
Within the village is the excellent tea room and gallery The Old Reading Room and The Pheasant, renowned hotel and restaurant, lies just outside the village, along with the Muckleburgh Collection of tanks and military museum along the coast road towards Weybourne.
To the West in Salthouse is the super popular Dun Cow pub and a great village shop / coffee shop. Kelling is situated 4 miles north of the pretty town of Holt, 8.5 miles west of Cromer and 24 miles north west of Norwich.
