Nearby is Richardson Road which has some lovely smaller shops, florist and cafe's.
We can also highly recommend Rockwater on Hove seafront (10 minutes walk) has a fantastic retractable roof terrace perfect for those summers evenings for a few drinks/dinner/lunch and taking in the seaview! King Alfred leisure centre is a short walk with its gym and swimming pool facilities. There are good transport links to Central Brighton, so the number 1, 6 and 700 buses take you to the city centre in 10 minutes, Brighton Green Social Bicycles to hire where you can ride along the seafront to Brighton Pier and it is approximately 10 minutes to walk to Portslade Station with its London Links. In the opposite direction you have beautiful scenery and charming villages.
