Description

The Grove is a wonderful Grade II listed country house set within lovely gardens and grounds with the addition of adjoining paddock land. Thought to date back to the 16th century, today, the house represents a stylish and extremely spacious family home, which has over more recent years undergone an extensive programme of works including the fantastic kitchen/diner/breakfast room. Whilst many of the rooms through enjoy wonderful views, the kitchen has been designed to take full advantage of the far reaching aspects over both its own paddock land and farmland views. The house boasts over 4,200 sqft of living space over two floors with a good degree of versatility throughout. In essence, there are five elegant reception rooms on the ground floor and five bright and spacious bedrooms on the first floor.

The Grove is approached via automated front wooden gates and down a long driveway which culminates close to the house where extensive parking can be found along with an electric car charger point. The formal gardens run predominantly to the front and side of the house and from almost anywhere in the gardens one can stand and admire the fabulous views.

For those with an equestrian interest, The Grove offers two principal enclosed paddocks and a sand and rubber based manége for all year round training and exercising. From the main driveway, a secondary track access runs down to the stable yard, which comprises five loose boxes, tack room and feed store outbuildings. Water and electricity are supplied to the yard.

From both the gardens and the stable yard, gates lead into the paddock which is enclosed, in the main, by post and rail fencing.
