"No. 73 has been our lovely family home for over 35 years! We arrived as newlyweds, raised our family here and more recently have enjoyed having our young grandchildren coming to stay.

Extending into the loft not only gave us a beautiful light airy room but the unexpected bonus of views of the morning sun glinting on the Thames Barrier and Canary Wharf lit up at night which we have never tired of.

Our secluded garden is a green tranquil oasis where the sun comes round so you can catch it all day, it is a great retreat for relaxing by the pond in the early evening and acts as another room where we have thoroughly enjoyed entertaining over the years.

We are so lucky to have lots of green park land on our doorstep, whether it’s been to play in or explore and amazing transport links as well as a great variety of shops -all things that we shall miss.

Swallowfield road is a quiet pleasant tree-lined street close to the station with a vibrant residents’ association and great neighbours.

We have absolutely loved living here and are sad to leave but it is time for us to move out of London- if we could take the house with us, we would!"
