House For Sale £775,000
Well Cottage, Dipley Common, Hook, Hampshire

Description
The Property

As you drive down the quite cul de sac country lane of Dipley Common, you realise you are somewhere special. Somewhere quiet and tucked away that maybe you did not even know existed but now you have found it you realise you can be somewhere relaxing and quiet, very much at one with nature but still be close to everything you need on a day to day basis.

Well Cottage is a charming home set amongst all of this natural beauty and the house itself does not disappoint. The welcoming, wooden floored entrance hallway leads through to a large L- shaped lounge dining area which is also open to the kitchen, creating a flowing living space perfect for a family or when entertaining family and friends. In winter, the fireplace and log burner create a perfect focal point for snug nights in. But the room also opens out through patio doors into the back garden for those warmer and sunny days.

To the other side of the hall is a large study, ideal for working from home which could also be used as a bedroom. A further ground double bedroom helps to create really versatile living space especially if an older family member is visiting or living at the property. There is also a downstairs cloakroom which doubles up as a utility room as well.

Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms and the attractive family bathroom has a separate shower as well as the bath.

The real feature of this cottage is its setting. The landscaped back garden has beautifully formed, mature shrub borders and a well maintained lawn. When its not so sunny or perhaps too hot, a pretty summer house is ideal to enjoy a quiet read of a book, with a cup of tea or something stronger. There are also two patio seating areas, one directly outside the house and the other for a more relaxed afternoon or summer evening with friends. With the tress and fields beyond the garden remains very private too

Even the front garden has a covered bench seat looking out over the woods and common land to the front while you just enjoy the natural environment and whatever wildlife pass by. Perhaps, the greatest part of living in Dipley Common is the chance to just put your boots on and head for a walk through the surrounding fields, with or without a dog. The Leather Bottle is close enough to walk to for a drink!
