3 bed Flat For Sale £650,000
Commerell Street, Greenwich, SE10

Description
My partner and I purchased our first home in Greenwich in 2015, and it has proven to be everything we had hoped for.

What attracted us instantly to the property was the natural light spilling into all the rooms, the private garden, expansive storage, and secure parking. The split level property has meant that we truly separate the living space from the 3 bedrooms and often feel the transition when we go up the flight of stairs. We have found a variety of independent cafes, shops, and restaurants, with River Gardens Cafe along the Thames Path being a firm favorite. We are regulars at The Gipsy Moth for their Sunday roast, and often grab a bite to eat from the variety of food stalls at the bustling Greenwich market.

Since buying the property, we have had two children and the flat has grown with us. The communal garden with play area, accessed directly via our garden, has been an incredible source of enjoyment for them. We often let the kids play in the communal garden when we're tending to the BBQ or enjoying a glass of wine. With the enormous Greenwich Park, Pleasaunce Park, Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, Thames walk, and The Old Royal Naval College just a walk away, we feel incredibly lucky to live right in the center of such a historic area.

The commute to and from Central London is a breeze due to the location. Canary Wharf or the city can be accessed via North Greenwich Jubilee or the DLR, both of which are a 20 min walk or a 7 min bus ride away. National Rail from Maze Hill takes you straight into Cannon Street or City Thameslink. Our custom built shed is perfect to store gardening equipment and all of our bicycles and other outdoor equipment, making biking to work really convenient. The convenience of a side entrance is just one of the many features that makes this property feel very much like a house.

Living centrally in Greenwich has been a fantastic experience. We have enjoyed visiting the Painted Hall, Cutty Sark, Greenwich Comedy Festival, Queen's House Ice Rink, and Maritime Museum, often by foot or bicycle. We've also enjoyed taking the boat from North Greenwich pier into the city, most recently to visit Tate Modern. Long winter days are equally entertaining with the myriad of activities at the O2, from bowling to trampoline parks. While we are moving on to be close to family, we have fond memories of our time in Greenwich and will truly miss our first home!
