"We moved to our new home on Baring Road in 2011 as we were looking for more room to bring up our young family. We were not disappointed with the house being much larger inside than one would first imagine.
We have found the location to be excellent with easy access to several nice pubs and restaurants, local shops and other amenities. There are several local parks within very easy walking distance that form part of the famous Green Chain Walk of South East London.
The transport links are very good with easy train links into Central London in 15 minutes from either Grove Park or Lee stations. This has made commuting to work very convenient as well as travelling up to town for leisure. An excellent local bus service goes in one direction to Bromley or Lewisham in the other direction.
We have always enjoyed how airy the house has felt with its high ceilings; being South West facing there is always plenty of sunlight. The house still has bags of potential for further development potential, but we were particularly pleased with our kitchen extension that quickly became the centre for our family.
It will be a shame to leave, but with the children moving on, the house is now just too big for the next stages of our lives."
