Whatever the season, they can often be found outside at the Skeats Wharf property, enjoying the unique ambience of their waterside house. “I think the neighbours think we are mad!” Jen jokes. “But even in the autumn and winter we like to be outside, looking out over the water and soaking up the peace and quiet.” The couple moved to the detached property on the exclusive, award-winning development some eight years ago. “For us, it really was the appeal of being beside the water,” Mick remembers. “We love sitting outside on the terrace or the balcony, watching the ducks and swans, and just enjoying the tranquillity.”
