The property has lots of natural light thanks to its tall, modern sash windows and was recently repainted. Being Victorian, it retains its tall ceilings. The windows have shutters and the bedrooms have blackout blinds to ensure a good night's sleep.

It's a really attractive property and I'm gradually working on adding all the necessary things to make it as homely and welcoming as possible, so if you can bear with some things looking a bit bare temporarily, that would be appreciated.

About the owner/occupier:

I'm Charles and I would be the live-in landlord. I would be working from home Monday to Friday (roughly 9-5) in my office room upstairs. There would also be some occasional nights away on business.

Friendly, tidy, respectful, considerate professional and non-smoker, male or female, who has a job they travel to each day and who doesn't have pets.

It's important that I get on well with, and communicate well with my house guest and that they're able to feel at home.Please tell me about yourself when making contact, including what you do for your work, your desired length of stay, what type of let you would like (e. g. Monday to Friday let) etc.

This property is available with a Deposit Free option which means that instead of paying a traditional five weeks security deposit, you pay a fee of one weeks rent + VAT (subject to a minimum of £120 + VAT) to become a member of a deposit free renting scheme which significantly reduces the up-front costs. This fee is non-refundable and is not a deposit so cannot be used towards covering the cost of any future damage.
