The Location - Gorsey Bank is a delightful hamlet of character homes located just on the outskirts of Wirksworth. The leaded double glazed window to the front aspect affords those aforementioned views over the rooftops and surrounding countryside.

Outside - Immediately to the rear of the cottage there is a small courtyard garden with high stone wall providing a good level of privacy. There is a timber shed which is included in the sale. To the front of the property there is a stone flagged courtyard having a variety of plants and trees within its borders. The front of the home faces due south and thus enjoys a good level of sunlight throughout the day.

Parking - Because of Hog Cottage's unique location, the entrance road to the cottage is very steep and narrow and although there is an opportunity to park one car on the lane outside the cottage, it may be a challenging experience and you will need to reverse down the hill. The current owner parks their regular sized car outside the property.

Directional Notes - From our office in Wirksworth Market Place, proceed down St John Street in the direction of Derby and shortly before reaching the mini-roundabout turn left into Water Lane. Proceed along Water Lane and over the railway crossing at which point the road becomes Gorsey Bank. Continue up and along Gorsey Bank until reaching the Roman Catholic Church on the right hand side and we would recommend parking near here. Walk up the lane on your left taking the next left turn and continue up the lane until you arrive at Hog Cottage on your left hand side.
