THE VILLAGE OF MINETY Minety is a village in Northern Wiltshire, between Malmesbury – 6 miles to the west – and Cricklade 6 Miles South West. It takes its name from the water mint plant found growing in ditches around the village, and has previously been known as Myntey. It has a well respected primary school and a successful rugby and social club. There is a thriving Community Shop that stocks a range of produce including locally sourced meat, eggs, and jam, plus a small Cafe' to the rear.
