Agent notes:

Location: In the eastern part of Suffolk, Grundisburgh is positioned six miles (10 km) to the northeast of Ipswich and four miles (6 km) to the northwest of Woodbridge along the B1079 route. The presence of the rivers Lark and Gull flowing through the village suggests habitation dating back to the Middle Saxon period, indicated by discoveries of Ipswich and Thetford-type pottery.

Grundisburgh, recorded in various forms in the Domesday Book of 1086, accommodates amenities such as a primary school, a Church of England parish and the solitary public house known as The Dog. Amongst numerous contenders nationwide, the Grundisburgh Dog Delicatessen secured its place on the shortlist for the Farm Shop and Deli Retailer Awards 2022 as one of only six chosen from East Anglia. Recognized for its excellence, the deli emerged victorious in its region during the awards ceremony at the NEC in Birmingham on April 25.

The Grundisburgh and District News, a publication released quarterly through voluntary efforts, delivers updates on local affairs. The village also boasts two fords and serves as the setting for Susanna Gregory's novel A Wicked Deed.

Grundisburgh Primary School, which underwent its latest Ofsted assessment with 131 students, is housed in a contemporary structure on Alice Driver Road since 1989. This replaced the former Old School building near St Mary's Church, which underwent conversion into affordable housing in 1994, inaugurated by Member of Parliament John Gummer.
