Description
CRICKLADE Cricklade is known as the First Town on the Thames, with Saxon roots. The bustling High Street is close by with a plethora of amenities, plus the larger towns of Cirencester and Swindon are accessible via the neighbouring A419. The North Meadow is also close by with the renowned snake headed fritillaries that bloom annually. This site has now been noted as SSSI and NNR.
