There are regular bus services as well as Milford main line station (London Waterloo in approximately 50 minutes).
Close by there are many miles of open countryside and commons, much in the care of the National Trust, ideal for dog walking or a weekend stroll. Godalming, with its well-regarded 6th Form College, offers a more comprehensive range of amenities, including a Waitrose and Sainsbury's.
