Grade 2 Listing
Summerhouse, the original hotel (now converted into flats), has a Grade 2 listing. Built in mid-19th century, it was one of the earlier elevated villas built in Lynmouth. The raised terrace garden and railings are of particular historic interest. There are very few gardens in the older parts of the village.
Parking
Lynmouth is served by both on-street parking and three car parks, two of which are less than a minute’s walk from the apartment. Residents’ permits are available for c. £90 per year.
Tenure
The flat is held on a long lease, with over 980 years remaining, plus a ¼ share of the freehold. The building is managed by the owners. There is no ground rent. Service charges are 23% of costs (covering maintenance, repairs and buildings insurance).
