We loved our time in this beautiful flat with the river just behind us, the ecology park to the side, and all the amenities needed close by.
The flat has spacious storage space and a huge balcony which was truly a saviour during the lockdown period. The balcony can be accessed from both the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom also has additional wardrobe space built in. As a fairly new building, it also has an NHBC warranty for another five years. There is also bike storage and concierge services for the flats.
The flat is walking distance from the O2 arena with an array of restaurants and bars, Ikea, all the big supermarkets, and gyms. North Greenwich tube station is only a 15 min walk from the flat with access to Jubilee Line for Canary Wharf, Stratford, West End, and City Airport. Buses to North Greenwich station and to south London are also at your doorstep.
The building itself has a close-knit community with a very friendly neighbourhood. Access to outstanding primary and secondary schools nearby adds a further appeal. Our son has enjoyed his time at his local nursery and the children's play areas nearby including access to green areas such as Southern park and the landscaped Central Park. What we will miss the most are the walks and runs along the river Thames and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets we have seen over the last 5 years.
