Croyde Village is arguably one of the South West's most beautiful coastal villages. As charming in the winter as it is vibrant in the summer. It is a popular and well regarded destination sporting a mix of attractive period thatched cottages, traditional stores and pubs that rub shoulders with hip surf shops and restaurants. There are some jaw dropping new residential dwellings as well as popular camp sites and ever popular B&B's.Sheltered by dunes that lead down to the main beach, the village allows easy access Croyde Bay. It is one of the World's premier surfing destinations and has been selected as only the 12th world surfing reserve.
Two other superb beaches are close at hand including Saunton Sands which is south of Croyde and Putsborough Beach to the north. Amazing cliff top views are enjoyed from the South West Coast path and National Trust land with the fantastic Baggy Point providing
drama where the Atlantic waves crash against the cliffs.
