Berwick lies approx. 15 miles east and to the west is Galashiels which is approx. 30 miles. Both these towns offer rail links to Edinburgh, the line from Berwick being the main East Coast Line. By car, Edinburgh is approx. 47 miles, with Newcastle to the South being approx. 78 miles. Both these cities offer excellent airport facilities.
